Winter Break

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year To Everyone ! (: For Christmas Eve and day i spent it with my family and they left later that day. One of my aunt bought me these brown boots that i fell in love with. My other aunt gave me 40 dollars. I also go the new iPod 4th generation 64 GB. I also got alot of money. On December 22nd I got bad news that my friend Ashley Prado past away in a car accident and i was shocked because she was the most sweetes girl you could ever meet. She was in cheer and in JV softball and barely 16 years old. So that Sunday we had a fundraiser for her and it was a success, we raised more than $5,000 just that day. Tomorrow January 4, 2011 we are having another fundraiser for Ashley and i hope it turns out great. Then that Friday & Saturday is the Funeral Services and i think I'll be going to both of them. For New Years Eve & Day I didn't do nothing at all. On New Years Eve my dad gave me and my brother 100 dollars each so we went to the mall and spent it but we didnt buy alot of things so we still have money left over so we might go to the mall again this saturday.

If You Come Softly By Jacqueline Woodson

The book i am reading right now is called If You Come Softly by Jacqueline Woodson. Im currently on the 5th chapter and its pretty interesting. Its about these guy and girl that met for the first time and when they looked at eachother they had this weird feeling neither of them knew. Every chapter it would be the girl talking and her point of view then the next chapter would be the guy talking in his point of view, and it would go back and forth and that what makes the book interesting. I think later on in the book they will get to know eachother and they wont care about the color of their skins and their background. And hopefully towards the end they will introduce them to their parents and wont judge them by the color of their skin.

Love Game by Amanda Rae

I am reading a poem called Love Game by Amanda Rae and i actually like the poem because it shows how much us girls get hurt by the guy that all he does is play with our hearts. This reminds of the when i would use to watch The Trya Banks Show and watch like how girls would always get hurt. I think no girl or even a guy deserves to be treated likee that. I do know some guys that have been played by girls and i know SOO many girls that have gotten played by guys.

i Do By Elizabeth Chandler Compared To Love You Hate You Miss You By Elizabeth Scott

The first book i read was Love You Hate You Miss You By Elizabeth Scott and in my opinion i thought it was a really good book. It kept me wanting to read more because it was very interesting. It was my first independent reading book that i read in my class. The second book that im currently reading right now is called I Do By Elizabeth Chandler and i thought it was a pretty good book. It kept me interested because its about this girl that falls in love with her enemy which is this jock and at first she thought he was this annoying jock but turns out he is really nice and sweet. At first before i started reading Love you hate you miss you i actually thought it was gunna be like a love story about like teenage love but its actually about this tennage girl who gets out of rehab from having a alchohol problem and trying to get over the death of her best friend. Her best friend died in a car accident that both of them was in and she thinks its her fault for her best friend dieing because she was the one who told her to get inside the car and drive.
